Brad concentrates his practice on all facets of civil litigation in state and federal courts. He is involved in all aspects of the firm’s litigation practice. He regularly defends and prosecutes class actions involving wage claims and the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act. Brad also advises and helps individuals and businesses to navigate insurance coverage matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Brad worked in the Chicago office of a large national law firm, bringing large law firm experience to the personalized boutique setting. Brad’s prior experience also provides him insight into the insurance industry which helps him in representing individuals and businesses in insurance claim litigation.
Among other types of litigation, Brad is well-versed in commercial litigation, appeals, professional liability, directors' and officers’ liability, employment practices liability, first party litigation, broker-dealer liability and products liability. He also handles residential real estate closings and acts as a title agent.
Brad has taken jury trials to verdict, served as first chair for several trials, conducted and defended depositions, led settlement negotiations, handled appeals and argued dispositive motions. He serves as general counsel for the Better Business Bureau of Central Illinois. Brad also serves as the firm's general counsel.
Brad is licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin and is a member of the following United States District Courts: NDIL, NDIL BK, SDIL, EDMI, UDSC NE, WDWI. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law, in 2003, and holds a BA in Philosophy from Tulane University.
Brad is a past member of the Board of Managers for the Decalogue Society of Lawyers. He also served as co-chairperson for Decalogue’s Judicial Evaluation Committee.
Brad is an avid native gardener. He serves as co-chair of the Village of Glencoe Sustainability Task Force.
